The Tourists' Story

In a state of pained bewilderment a group of western tourists arrive at their holiday destination, somewhere inside the Arctic circle. It's an old soviet-era labour camp, close to the sad and impoverished town of Miserigrad. The majority of the tourists have travelled from the USA but there is just one plucky British couple from Catford, south-east London.  

 

Having survived the long and arduous bus journey from Magadan, many in the group are now despondent and starting to question whether a holiday in a Russian gulag was such a good idea.
